Immediate thoughts: Loved the significant disability rep. DV storyline (not by either of the MCs) was intense, though I guess I was slightly disappointed by how anticlimactically it resolved. I kind of liked the group protection you get from 'why choose' books without the 'why choose' silliness. The HEA was very low key, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Overall the book was an odd blend of intense and chill.

I don't know how normal this is in the trope, but I love that the oopsie daisy marriage wasn't actually fully legal, so there's nothing about needing to get a divorce or annulment - it's purely about closure, emotions, and other plot factors.

Given the cover and "oops we got married while we were blackout drunk" premise, this book is a lot darker than I thought it would be. I feel so much. Tension already about what's going to happen in Amadeo's life.
