This is so stupid wtaf do you mean Sherly and the prof used to live together in 221A but had to give it up of some wheelchair bound person then drew straws to decide who would get what apartment (Sherly lost and got mad said he would move to Sussex and keep bees) then the prof refused to room with Sherly because of HIS FREAKING VIOLIN not the coke habit not the singing which they duet on occasion but FREAKING VIOLIN

So the link is that all the victims had a positive effect on the prof’s life even his past girlfriend which that story was so fricking sad

I’m about to get to pt 2 and what the actual hell id the professors backstory he said a single paper he wrote changed his life and that he was responsible for the teardrop killings and I genuinely think those killings have the similarity of the victims were killers because of the tattoo meaning

I didn’t get the backstory I wanted but I think I figured out the link between the victims and I got some more good quotes

As a Sherlock tellings & retellings #1 fan, I’m loving this so much!!!

I am a HUGE Sherlock Holmes fan, so when I saw this book, it was a no brainer.

It is a little chaotic, expected that, it’s the whole contemporary thing that is throwing me off.

That said, now that I *think* I’ve got my head around some of the differences, because I am sure there are more, I am going to restart it so I can fully enjoy the twists and turns.
