if the point is lulling the reader into empathizing and feeling the hopeless tragedy, the unresistability of the pace of events, i see it coming hard and it’s already crazy how fast i went from being shocked and dismayed that sosuke had dumped any responsibility for ths estate and his brother, to being like ‘yeah it cant be helped i guess something will turn up’. human nature is fucked

J’avoue que la transition entre un livre sci-fi où il se passe 1000trucs à la minute à une fiction japonaise avec comme MCs un couple de japonais pas fringuants au début du 20eme siècle… c’est rude 😬 - mais je m’accroche
