I just can't get into this Gilmore Girl-esque world where every character is a CHARACTER.

I mean, as a historian, there's no way in hell Eddie would have risked the original journal by taking it to the island. But I am going to suspend my professional disbelief for the sake of fun. 😆

He wanted the diary returned, and the attacker unmasked. And he would demand it, with all the authority of Josiah’s Nesmith’s name. It was his birthright, and his responsibility. And, more than that, he wanted to prove to Eddie that he’d never hurt him.

This novella is spectacular. I love everything about it.
