I'm finishing this tonight... I'm already sad.

This book also helped me define the difference between a romantasy and a fantasy romance.

A romantasy will have a slow burn romance that includes a thrilling build-up and tropes, so that if you separate the fantasy and the romance the romance by itself could be interesting alone.

A fantasy with a romance subplot can still have a big romance yet it will be more realistic and without the typical tropes.

Ok wow. This is a great example of a ya book that has truly morally grey characters. Like wdym the main character just killed one of the good guys. I’m shook 🤯🤯🤯

Also, where the fuck is Raphael?!? My pookie better be ok!

God this book is making me giddy! But I also can’t seem to read more than 50 pages of it a day. I’m struggling a bit with a lack of interest in the plot. And idk about Enzo he seems shady, still rooting for Teren.

Ok, I know this will probably not happen but if it does I’ll go insane; I see insane chemistry between Raphael and Enzo. Also love how morally grey Enzo is. My perfect ending, romance wise, for this series is Adelina with Teren, and Enzo and Raphael together.

I really love this and feel like this could be an easy 5 star yet something about it can’t keep my attention for longer than 30 pages.

Hmm 🤔 I sense a love triangle between Adelina (Juliet), our good guy prince enzo (Adam), and bad guy equisitor Teren (Aaron Warner hehe).

I am eating this book up! Its so good!
