I was so eager to read this but now I’m a bit disappointed with how this turned out. I know this is still a short story — but some more grovelling for Cain? Okay too much? But faith girl come on? Steel your heart. Kindness isn’t always needed. The baddies take it as a weakness and think you’re a doormat.

I wish this had more grovelling. I know this is a short story but I think faith shouldn’t have given him an another chance that quick with respect to what she went through in her life.
