Starting this with skepticism… it’s maybe giving cbc patriotism fest but it’s also got some of my fav writers (Ivan coyote, Omar el akkad for example) which made me curious enough to pick it up!! The intro also spoke to the hypocrisy of Canadian fear of threats to our sovereignty (Elbows up in a nutshell) when Canada itself is a destruction of indigenous sovereignty
