This will stay with me for a long time. Giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because there were times the quirky writing was not for me. The story was so compelling and it gave me much to think about regarding families and what we consider to be unusual vs non-standard families. What actually makes up a family? Books don’t often make me cry, but this one made me want to put it down and look away. I’m glad I didn’t.
