So it's Tasmanian Giant Crab (Russian dude) versus Blue Ring Octopus (Chinese dude).

Who will win? And more importantly, how many detailed explanations of the above critters will we encounter until we know?

Seriously? I even bothered looking it up and yes, the dictionary itself tells you "usually written with kana alone".
Terra Formars don't care, muahaha. Yeah. But it sure furigana'd (that is a word now, I can do this too!).

Dude...it's not just that you were born first, Ichirou. It's like you're like an entire different species, Shichi- the little brother- actually looks like a human being but you were drawn like a frog.

Meanwhile, we keep up with the meaningful names. What with [七星] (seven stars), and the family name being...leeches.
