This is a very unique book, very self-revelatory for Samantha Matthews. For the reader, it's a lot to ponder: What does it mean to be a woman? To be a sexual woman? To have past trauma? It moves a bit like a stream of conscious narrative, making unique associations rather than being overly structured, and yet much easier to read than actual stream of consciousness narratives.

I’m not sure what I think about this. It’s both a sexual/erotic narrative and a trauma narrative, and it reads like one long conversation—and yet it doesn’t feel structured (and maybe it should be). Still, it’s engrossing, and I’d read 50 pages before I realized it.
