Some historical inaccuracies aside, it's so refreshing to read a book that goes into detail about ALL of Germanicus's military career, not just what he did in Germania against Arminius. Reading about his role in the Pannonian-Illyrian War has me kicking my feet and twirling my hair!!! Like...we’re so back. I’ll never get tired of reading about this man.
