2.5 stars. I chose this because I loved the author's Rosewood Ranch series. This one started out promising, but quickly became confusing. Parts of it felt disjointed and the timeline felt off. Some of the language used by the MMC felt incongruent with other parts of himself. And it ends in the middle of a scene! Like there is absolutely no resolution.
