This is a slow burn. I'm even more excited about the Millie the temple mouse case than the murder. I'm a legal procedural fiend as well. This is getting good when the other case has seemingly stalled.

Scoured like 10 books and stumbled on this!! What a gem of a cosy mystery in a quiet and beautiful courts inn area (I see you Lincoln's inn!); underrated and definitely needs more readers to discover our gentleman nerd, Sr. Gabriel Ward KC, an astute barrister whose skills turns out to be great not just forensic analysis but also detection. Ah, no need to describe and just enjoy Victorian London and Temple district.
