I think it can be said that collections of essays and stories regardless of author waver. Some engage our tastes while others don't.

Remarkable. For those who enjoy witnessing the views of black authors as they tell lyrical stories about varying degrees of racism, I urge to read this author. Truly brilliant in all respects

As expected the author opens the series of essays with brief letters he's written to James Baldwin. Kei has received numerous accolades for his poems and in a few of the letters he tells James he doesn't care for his poetry then pays homage to his novels. His narrative is what we expect from a black author that is concerned about today's divided society
