She’s brightened the darkness that has consumed him - phantom use to say you brighten the night. She realized everyone glowed when she melded but not him

He didn’t know this was happening at 1st, but sensed a shift - when he threw a knife at skul- neither expected a wound to form- it hinted they were closer converging than seperate , should’ve appeared on the soil, but appeared on ash meaning they were getting closer - he threw the knife bc he didn’t trust his soul- he had no choice to retaliate for every soul bone
