Good on madison for telling joey off cause she DID abandon her suddenly for alex and helen, and joey can’t expect them to be best friends when they aren’t even close friends YET

The pov tone of this book feels like reading an instruction manual written in first person pov. It’s so methodical almost, like joey could have been a neurodivergent character except she’s not. I read not in love by ali hazelwood, which actually had the fmc, rue, identify with neurodivergence and even her voice sounded better than joey’s.
