This book is beautifully written, with well-developed characters and arcs. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Douglas has a magical way of storytelling.

Come will call it predictable but I truly did not see that little twist coming

The writing is incredibly well-crafted and truly magical. However, there are instances where I need to refer to a translator due to the extensive use of Gaelic. The story is rich with characters and intricate story arcs that require me to pay close attention and remember. Despite the complexity, I am thoroughly enjoying the premise and eagerly anticipate the unfolding of the story.
