Oh, this is just so, so bad. Not good. Super bad.

So far, this is rage-inducingly bad. And yet, I carry on.

“Why on earth would she want to go to dinner with Joan and her probably boring husband and her most assuredly idiot nephew?” You'd think as the book went on, as certain matters with Lauren's fiancee were revealed, that she would mature and show SOME hardcore development - nope. Still the same snobby, materialistic, shallow, rude girl. Seriously, Cunningham??

“[Her wedding dress] was beyond expensive, which made Lauren proud” I hate Lauren, the main character. I don't know how Cunningham managed to construct a character with all the qualities I despise in a person - shallow, self-centered, utterly indecisive, quick to anger, lacking in relate-ability and basic human compassion... At this point I just feel obligated to finish reading the book.

“Impulsively, she rolled up her sleeves and walked over to the kitchen sink” even though a couple pages back it said she was wearing a sleeveless top. I hate carelessness like that. What do you have an editor for, seriously.

Um...chapter 4...YOWZA!
