Status Updates From Nightshade and Oak

I am just feeling ok about this… I want to be more immersed in the world.. love the narration.. but for some reason I am reading just not really caring where it goes- if that makes sense? I feel like I might have to DNF for the moment- because there are many books I want to get to and this is just dragging..?

So far I am enjoying, love the narrators voice.
I always find it interesting when a goddess or fae “lose” there magic/ powers and have to live as a human. The immortals always seem to forget how easy” it is for a human life to end..
