Je savais que ce roman allait etre bien, la plume est folle

DNF; the prose is clunky/jarring & the concepts are too on the nose. From the reviews I’ve recently read, this will only continue. This feels very YA, & the themes aren’t done with much subtlety or artistry from what I’ve seen. Ik it’s early, but it’s so frequent & abrasive that I think I’ll just stop here! Disappointed bc I was excited for mermaid horror sapphic stuff but :P

Horrific so far. I’m pushing through so I can write a review 🥴
