Yep. I was right. Super very religious. Which sucks because everything else is perfect. Ugh.

The amount of time the word ‘god’ and ‘praying’ has been used in this book is way too much. I feel like it’s a book on religion. But the plot is too good to DNF…yet

So far... ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Literally have not been able to put it down. I've already teared up several times and even shed a few of those tears.

I shrieked at the same time my brothers cheered and crowed.

‘Please don’t let me go. I have no one else, Akhane. No one.’

‘You asked me to advise you if you ever had something hanging from your nose, Donavyn. Do you also wish to be warned to wipe your chin when you’re salivating?’

I was alive. She had saved my life. And Chosen me. I sucked in a life-giving breath, then the word rushed out like it had been punched from my lungs. “Why?!” She turned her head again, and that eye—sharp with intelligence, soft with compassion—fixed on me once more. ‘Because you’re worth it, Little Flame.’

Im doing a reread of this series since the last two books in the series just came out.
