Still confused by the plot

AH. I’m realizing that this book is likely ending on a cliff hanger and I’m angry.

I started this book because the new one was coming out. A couple things…I am not a romantasy reader and I read the reviews of this book and was scared…I WAS WRONG. It’s very good so far. I know the time jumps around a lot but I kind of like it, like it’s suppose to feel immortal. Also love the banter between Sera and Dane, I have a feeling I can predict what’s going on but still a great read!
