Status Updates From Principles of Neural Design

Very thoughtful and intuitive breakdown of the design principles underlying efficient brain function. The chapters covering information theory and entropy, however, are less intuitive to the layperson, and I feel I need to seek more explanations elsewhere to truly grasp the equations and concepts.
