IF THE HUSBAND DOESN'T DIE SCREAMING AT THE END I'M GOING TO SET THIS BOOK ON FIRE. I hope she skins him alive with her bare hands.

Ooooof, this one is tough to read. I may drop it not because of any issues with the plot, but holy hell do I want her husband dead. The abuse the mother and son are going through makes me sick to my stomach. I'll try and push through because I hope this POS husband gets it in the end. But this is not for the feint of heart or anyone with triggers/trauma surrounding abuse.
