Again, it’s fine. Simple but clean sentences, sometimes descriptions drag on a bit. Very much on the nose for a lot of emotional beats and motivations.

A bit plain in most respects but it’s a slow burn so maybe it ramps up? The writing is fine so far. Setting is decent but Vee is veering close to demanding so a bit wary of that. Hopefully she’s more mature about things, but I know you do need some way to push the plot unfortunately.

I don’t know, a bit lukewarm as of yet, but mostly intro so far so maybe it gets good.

Definitely a gothic slowburn
