It’s annoying how in this world mean get to decide the fate of everyone. And they get to talk openly when complaining about the deals that they made behind closed doors with no one complaining.

Ummm, this a rip off Vampire Academy. Kind of happy about it, bc it’s one of my favorite series. I know now, as an adult, that the hot older dude trope and teacher/student relationship story was not the best back in the day, but I still love it. Dimitri was only 9 years older than Rose, and in this story, the age gap is more like 5 years but we have a similar dynamic. Happy with the story, feels fresh but familiar
