The use of journal entries has been so cute. Some of the more tense moments are defused by the humor that follows. This has been absolutely delightful. I love it. I sort of needed tissues here at the end. It was sort of like an epilogue as it wraped up many of the connections. It was a tad confusing as the correspondence was talking about people in the family.

Oh, why did I put off reading this for so long? I am still laughing as they make their way through this marriage. His use of military terms and maneuvers just fracture me. Poor Lydia is so innocent in her naivete that you really feel for her. She absolutely has no clue. The comparison between the two journal entries is hilarious. I've never read anything like this. How creative and innovative.

Oh, I think I hurt myself laughing. This is hilarious. By the end of chapter 2 they are wed... Lydia is a mess... many of her actions are so childishly innocent and yet so funny. Oh me... what a scream. I LOVE this guy. He is so patient and so military in his approach to this whole mess. Their journal entries are to die for. Ha!

OMG!!! I have only finished chapter 1 and have laughed my head off. This is hilarious. I really like this guy. HA! As a military man he is approaching this as he would a campaign and is writing in his Field Journal a list of objectives, strategies, and tactics. Lydia, on the other hand, is writing in her journal and is not mincing words. Oh-my-goodness... what a hoot! She is a scream.

Dang! I pulled this one first. I need to read Mr. Darcy's Persistent Pursuit before this one. Aaaah shucks! OK... hang on while I dig out the other one so I can read it first. That's what I get for not looking more closely. My OCD rebels when I go out of order. I have done it in the past, but it wasn't pleasant.
