Not sure if this is how I'd like it all to be executed but it's fine, reminiscent of the joy luck club

I feel like I could binge this book today; we're slowly going back in time and I'm hoping the book will gradually unravel some lingering questions (who is Lucy? Why do Leo and Eko fight so much?) I feel like this book does have the potential to get into the usual boring muddy middle here, but hopefully it doesn't!

I can't tell you where this is going, and it's already striking me as more of a character study and people being people over anything with some kind of plot, but I'm really enjoying it! It's very easy to get on with while reading, just wish there was some translation outside of googling for passages in different languages. (Again, easily remedied with a quick search)
