interesting so far. i like the focus on the queer elements and how conflicted the protag is over her and her peers’ apparent queerness. it just doesn’t really feel like it’s set in the 20’s at all. the dialogue does little to make it feel like it’s set in the past. idk. i’m conflicted rn

This book feels like a good comp for Plain Bad Heroines with more angst. It also might leave me with similar mixed feelings, which I'm fine with.
