Status Updates From Alanna: The First Adventure...

Had this as a freebie on audible. I have read this series half a dozen times through the years. It cemented my love of reading when I was in middle school. No reading challenge, just good storytelling. Listing to the whole quartet for nostalgia. Alanna holds up, even after two decades. Current authors and screenwriters need to remember what real “girl power” is. Look right here. She EARNS her shield in every way.

Loving the writing style so far and the premise is great. I can think of a bunch of my friends kids who would probably love this story!
