I'm really interested in these characters, and want to see where this story goes, but this author has that overly descriptive, and overly detailed, style that makes me squinty eyed and gives me a headache. Like I literally realize I'm squinting my eyes trying to figure out why all this information is relevant, and have to stop doing it. Sigh. I'm resisting temptation to bail because I want to see what happens!
