This was my first Goodreads win so I was honestly really excited to even get my hands on this book. At first I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about it because it had some fantasy elements… and I’m not typically a fantasy reader. But it really leaned more into a who did it mystery… and I’m really glad I stuck with it.
