Поступки многих персонажей вызывают просто недоумение. Ну где логика? 👁️👁️
И не понимаю, вот есть тут Люк, вроде бы романтический интерес Шарлотты, ну спорно, но автор намекает. Вот что он творит? Может, он просто мимо? Сжечь её дом и взять в плен бабулю, ну как бы, хмм 🤔

Решила, видимо, дочитать всё, что начала в этом году :)
Затянуло, но голос чтицы, которая также читает вампирский клуб вязания, немного сбивает 😅

LUC manages to strike down worth and he becomes a scarecrow again. Charlotte manages to grab his scarecrow heart and escapes into the crowd. Luke let off in his head all the things that she’s done that he wants to make her pay for. I’m having a really difficult time finding LUC to be fair redeemable Love interest right now

Charlotte finds herself in a battle with grander. She manages to slice through his hamstring, and she hopes she can escape through one of the breaches with worth.

Luc gets caught up in the battle with worth who isn’t giving him an inch. But he’s finally fed up and doesn’t have much support left, LUC drop his sword worth isn’t fooled. He’s very suspicious.

The cardinal approaches Charlotte with Carnage and attacks her telling her she was alone survivor of the Saint Steward’s massacre, but she was raised by the nuns there that treated her like darkness incarnate she’s been the one WEILDING The WRAITHS. Charlotte manages to stab her and chokes her, but realizes she’s not the only WEILDER in the crowd.

They feed into the crowd at the hanging, anxious that St Claire & Rene will die, but the executioner has the blue sparrow tattoo on his hand, and when he flips the lever to drop the panel, the front of the scaffold explodes instead. They are able to rescue St Claire and Rene, but the Cardinal and Luc send the watch to intercept.

With the scaffolding built, they bring in Saint Clair and RENE. They’re hoping the rest of the order comes shortly and they’ll turn over the hearts to save RENE in Saint Clair MICAH insist on staying with the Cardinals watch thoughI think he will double cross them
