Every fictional portrayal of BDSM I have ever read has just been so silly and I think it's making me realize that BDSM is inherently very silly altogether

Having some issues.
DJ and Rake fall for Shaun way too fast. They accept that he’s a vampire. And they let him drink his blood after like 5 seconds of knowing he’s a vampire.
And now they rope in 3 more people to break into a vampire’s house? Just put your friends in grave danger why won’t you?
And the bdsm is so…. Bland.

love when humans use twilight as a guide to all things vampires and werewolves 😅
“What about werewolves?”DJ asked suddenly.
Rake stared at him.“What about werewolves?”
“I dunno. Was thinking they might help us fight the vampires if it came down to it.”
“Twilight is not a how-to guide, Deej.”Rake knew this because DJ’d sat him down over the past couple of evenings and made him watch the films.
