This book is so good, it reminds me a lot of The Outsiders

I'm still enjoying this book actually, as I've read further through the book I've learned more about the main character and his own personality. I think that the way the author explains the characters is very helpful and easily imagined as he introduced new ones too. I do wish he would write more about Manny's family and siblings.

The book finally is getting more into different details and parts of Manny's personal life. I enjoy that it gets into a lot of details and stories about his relationship with his family, especially his sibling. I enjoy this because I feel like it does a very good job in portraying a traditional Hispanic household.

I have enjoyed this book so far, I only started reading it because my sister recommended it to me though. I like the way the story is told and is relatable. I also enjoy the culture he shows throughout his storytelling.

That scene with Magda is just so brutal.
