Love that we get to see Vince miss and appreciate Megan. We know from the series, she loves him desperately and thinks of him as a teammate. Learning he feels the same is such a relief! Pllllease let him make it home in this book or the next AP book!!

I'm starting to think he's kind of a dick.
You don't think your wife is resilient?! I'm sure he's been on other business trips, and probably when the children were even younger...Just seems like he lacks the optimism that his wife, while not a fighter, could use her brain to keep their family safe and alive.
There also seems to be a disconnect with the gaming piece from the first book.
