Status Updates From Sacrati

I love Kate Sherwood’s stories for their intense emotion. This tale was bland. There wasn’t enough tension between the two MCs (my fav type of tension!) beyond their different cultural beliefs. The whole slave/owner tension/power struggles weren’t there. It was more about the political intrigue. I’m ashamed to say (not really, lol), there was a dearth of dark romance, lol. Angst and anger were missing.

Is "comradeship" even a word? Am I dumb or is it not real....?
