The word ick has been used so many times??? She got the ick because he fell at the ice rink, but she has never been on skates before & knocked him over while he was trying to help her. I hate that she like talks to the reader for like a sentence every once in a while? Like once a chapter towards the end so far she’s addressed the reader & I hate it. Also this book is VERY British. Idk what water butts are, but a lot of the slang I can figure out contextually.
