This could have (and should) been so much better than it is, especially given everything that’s happening right now. Very surface level, no depth. I expected so much more about being a Palestinian in the 21st century.

Ugh…this was one of my most anticipated books to read on the Women’s Prize Longlist…and, I know im going against the grain here, but I’m struggling with it. 🫣😩🥴
