I’m pretty disappointed in the book. I was looking forward to hearing Jeannine’s story on how she founded the bookstore and how she built community turning COVID and beyond but you have to sift so deep through her inner thoughts and prose to be able to find it. Her writing is absolutely beautiful, no doubt about it. But I feel like I’m missing the point.
