is finished
An absurdity of tropes that became untangled and then set a light, confusion, lovemaking, mud, escape vicious bears, the Palladio house with the right colors, the garden, the lovemaking, a floodgate all crashing at the end. And wishing that the book had gone on for another 20 pages with an epilogue especially of the return to London. But that was not to be.

The stagecraft of the ending of the book rolling into an adventure of a loose bear, treasonous Gold and the two ravens, is exemplary.

That’s A Winters Tale.
Out looking for buttercup. It is certain that the circus owner is involved. And the blackmailer. Despite the obvious it is a wonderful story

cockerel is a young male domestic chicken that is under one year old.
They are called chicks when first hatched. They become cockerels as they grow into adolescence, before turning into adult roosters (or cocks) at one year of age.

“ familiarity breeds contempt”
Yes, Geoffrey Chaucer used the earliest recorded English version of this idea in his 1386 work, Tale of Melibee
Men seyn that 'over-greet hoomlynesse engendreth dispreisynge."
In Middle English, "hoomlynesse" meant familiarity, and "dispreisynge" meant contempt or a lack of praise/respect

Imagine if other things were decided that way; instead of battles, wars could be one by whichever side had the best uniforms.
It would prevent a great deal of senseless bloodshed.
My solution is laughter and music but the best uniforms will do

Wasn’t that the true measure of love? And trusting something with its freedom, and having it returned to you through choice? Keeping it with kindness, not restraint?
I’ll use that in my review

Odin's ravens in Norse mythology are a pair of sacred birds named Huginn (Thought) and Muninn (Memory) who act as the all-seeing eyes and ears of the Allfather
Every morning, Odin sends Huginn and Muninn out to fly across the Nine Worlds to survey human and divine affairs
They return by breakfast time and perch on Odin's shoulders, whispering all the news and secrets they have witnessed into his ears

The wild white horses in the south of France are the legendary herds called the horses of the Camargue. For over 1000 years these amazing equines have adapted to the waterways. They live free but are overseen by guardians. Anyone looking at my notes should definitely pursue this.

Doteraz som si nemyslela, že historické romány sú také skvelé oddychovky! Veľmi ma to baví a veľmi fandím hlavným postavám.
