Status Updates From The Long Night

This is a bit scary but also entertaining because the protagonist keeps comparing her experiences to classic horror stories. Lots of jump scares but they are so cliched it’s entertaining. White is a great writer, really harnessing the gothic themes. It is a dark and stormy night in a ramshackle dwelling in the middle of nowhere. Also a nice reference to ‘there was movement at the station.’
