this might seem hyperbolic but I strongly dislike this author. I am only finishing this book so I gain rate it 1 star and right a negative review. No passion, no purpose, no feelings, no aesthetics, no meaning, no message. Astoundingly soulless.

This is such a Janet Hong thing for Janet Hong to translate. Anywho, I need to read Korean classics because I am disappointed by the contemporary novels I read more often than not. Or is the essence of a work just lost in translation? There’s just something lacking in most of the korean works I read.
