I'm guessing that Horatio is trapped in his own dream or Hamlett's dream and that's gonna be the big ol plot twist. But also it's set up too early and too easy so that might not be it.

This is reading vaguely like harryy potter x the magicians and idk how to feel about that

all these modern fantasy writers do is overexplain it’s so painful

I think I understand the reasoning behind it, but parts of this, as we approach the conclusion are getting tough to follow.

This is not my typical read at all, but I'm enjoying it. I like the dynamics of the character's relationship and the nods to Hamlet in this dark academia setting. Very interesting.
