Halfway through and I can already tell this will not be a winner for me. Veryyyy under-developed

Jumping into my newest graphic novel arc 🤗 This is from the illustrator of the covers of the Cemetery Boys & The Sunbearer Trials, etc. Super hype!!

I’m enjoying it so far but it’s lacking the emotional resonance needed to truly get us invested because there’s no time at the beginning to get to know our characters, even our MC

I have to read this one on my phone and it’s a graphic novel so it’s a perfect tech week read
