New story and another mystery

I am absolutely baffled. The writer did such a good job with the story. I had it all backwards. Truly such an interesting read

End of chapter 7: I still think my theory is correct, but now I think that Mr Itojima and Ayuko are hidden in the temple

My theory for now: O-Shige was the one murdered and the woman who Mr Itojima was hiding in the tatami room was Ayuko. I don’t really have a theory as to what happened exactly, but I think the husband and lover killed the wife

I feel like the murdered woman is O-Shige, but that seems too obvious. On with the reading!

I am on chapter 4 now. I really enjoy the thorough descriptions of the area and even a drawn map. It really helps me visualize the whole story even better

I am very intrigued by the prologue. Seems like it’s going to be a strange mystery
