I'm a sucker for a good found family trope and this book does it so well😭 but why does it feel like they're setting up a romance between our FMC and... someone (I don't wanna say who and spoil just in case)? Maybe it's just me but every time they hint at a romantic relationship between the two I just feel so weird! I love their friendship so much and I feel like a romance may ruin it idk..
