Status Updates From Cleopatra

Cleopatra has a really empowering story, and I can see why people are connecting with it. There are so many POVs that the story feels choppy instead of immersive. Just when I start connecting with one character, we’re switching to someone else. The prose is very polished and lyrical, but for me it doesn’t flow naturally. I appreciate what the author is trying to do, but it’s just not my reading style.
