The rambling rhetorical questions about how Edward might have felt, or Eleanor’s possible experiences, make for pained reading. Also not impressed by the copious amounts of junk food the author felt it necessary to document. I believe this is an attempt at humor, or trying to make the journey relatable, but haribo and sausage rolls sound nauseating.
