got halfway through the audiobook while needlepointing on metro north for hiking 🤗

This was a harrowing story of how addiction can impact families. I connected with Ruth but Lily seemed too perfect and forgiving of her mother to seem real.

PS I finished this a week ago and I couldn’t remember an ounce of the plot at all which made me knock half a star from my rating….

At first i was like hmmm :/ and now im like hmmm :(

Well-written but I’ve easily put it down with not much left to read. There’s no dramatic question.

The writing is fine, but this one is slow. I'll finish it in a week hopefully.
